Andrew Nangle

began his singing career after gaining a scholarship to Saint Patrick's Cathedral Choir School, Dublin. He sang as a boy treble from age eight and then went on to become a Tenor Choral Scholar and then Gentleman of the Choir. After school Andrew began his musical training at the D.I.T Conservatory of Music. His first professional job was with the National Chamber Choir of Ireland under its esteemed conductor/composer Colin Mawby. During his time in the NCC the choir toured extensively within Ireland and around Europe.


The choir worked closely with conductors from other world renowned choirs and orchestras including Bo Holton, Stephen Leighton, Nicholas McGegan, Gerhard Markson and Celso Antunes. The choir was also under contract to sing during the two opera seasons Spring/Summer, Autumn/Winter with Opera Ireland. During his time Andrew sang in the operas:Boris Godunov, La Traviata, La Boheme, Lady Macbeth of Mtensk, Katia Kabanova, The Barber of Seville and Madama Butterfly. As part of his professional work Andrew has been involved in many recordings including all the Celtic Woman CDs and DVDs. Andrew has been involved in Celtic Woman since it started in 2005
